So Saturday morning Jeff got his big BIRTHDAY SURPRISE!!! He thought I was taking him to a quick lunch before he was to drop me off at work...WRONG! :) As we pulled out of the driveway I screamed in excitement that he wasn't taking me to work... ( I was really off work that day) we were going to spend the day in VEGAS! I was pretty sure that Jeff still had no idea, but I had told both our families so the odds of it slipping by someone or even me were pretty good. It is so hard to keep such a good secret! But.. the best part about going to Vegas was going to see JLENO. I was going to wait until we got all the way down there before I told Jeff about the tickets, but he was so excited I just couldn't hold it anymore! This was the best birthday surprise I have ever done!
A word of advise... When the gentleman next to you hogs your whole armrest in a show, the best way to keep him away from you is to make him think you have caught something contageous. For example, at JLENO I itched my head a few times and mentioned the word lice. I obviously don't really have lice, but this guy didn't know the difference! It also gave us quite a chuckle.
